Minecraft PS4 fails final testing, release date pushed back

Minecraft won't be coming to PS4 this month.

Minecraft PS4The release date for Minecraft on PS4 is still shrouded in mystery as the game fails Sony's QA testing.

Minecraft went into certification testing at Sony late last week, but various issues and bugs found in the product have resulted in the release date getting pushed back.

We're unsure at the time as to whether or not this will impact the release of Minecraft on Xbox One, but as nothing has been announced to say otherwise, we'll assume it is still coming this month.

You'll be able to bring your saves from Minecraft on PS3 and Xbox 360 over to the next-gen versions.
