Grand Theft Auto 6 Set In Vice City & South America With Its First Female Lead Character, 2022 Release - Rumour
2 locations to cause havoc in.
We've all heard a fair share of GTA 6 rumours, and currently there's no telling if any of them are correct. This one however comes from The Know, who have cited an "inside source" which claims GTA 6 is internally referenced at Rockstar as Project Americas. The Know's history with leaks & rumours is patchy though it did correctly reveal Dark Souls 3 details before official confirmation.
Anyway, on with the rumour!
GTA 6 will take place in 2 places, namely Vice City and South America, sporting the series' first female lead character (currently there's no more details as to whether players will take control of more than one character), and could release in 2022; at least 3 - 4 years away.
The game will be set in either Miami or Rockstar's version of south Florida, known as Vice City in the GTA universe, and players will fly to South America for some missions.
As per all rumours, it's wise to take this information with a pinch of salt.
Since Rockstar is busy with Red Dead Redemption 2's October release date, they're probably not going to comment on these rumours, and any official talk of GTA 6 is most likely to be pushed back until RDR2's release, DLC, & online support have been revealed and mapped out.
How credible do you think this rumour is? Let us know below!
