After over 4 years of silence, Cyberpunk 2077 tweets a message
Could Cyberpunk news be imminent?
It's looking like we could get more news on the mysterious new game from CD Projekt any day now, as the game's Twitter account wakes up after 4 years of radio silence.
It has been five years since Cyberpunk 2077 was first revealed back in 2013, but we are yet to receive clear information on what exactly the developers of The Witcher 3 have in store for us in their latest IP.
The latest tweet, a simple *beep*, indicates that the systems for Cyberpunk are back online and that we should brace ourselves for new information soon. Maybe a new trailer or gameplay reveal at one of this year's big gaming events, such as E3 2018?
We've embedded the original reveal trailer above so you can refresh your memory on our first glimpse at Cyberpunk 2077.
From what the developer has said over recent months, we can expect the Cyberpunk series to steer away from the modern lootbox craze, although it will feature a multiplayer mode of some sort. CD Projekt also promised that the latest game will be "far, far bigger" than The Witcher 3, so fingers crossed we will be in for another ground-breaking adventure when the game does finally arrive.
Do you think Cyberpunk 2077 will live up to the hype? Leave a comment and let us know!
