Resident Evil 7 Sales Pass 4 Million & Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite Nearing 1 Million
Capcom is doing pretty well for themselves.
Capcom's financial report for the first half of this year is out and their big releases are doing pretty well for themselves and are feeling smug.
Resident Evil 7 has unlocked the 4 million sales achievement, meaning it's hit the mark that Capcom wanted to hit earlier on in the year. Whilst it didn't reach that target back then, it had a long tail so the sales number has kept on increasing.
Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite has shifted 900,000 copies; whilst it didn't wiggle its way into the UK top 10 at launch it seems to be holding on well.
There's a lot of numbers and all that lovely stuff in the report, however what you might find interesting is the fact that the Monster Hunter franchise, including the spin offs, mobile versions, and arcade attractions in Japan, continues to do very well. It looks like Monster Hunter XX for Nintendo Switch (released in Japan only) was a strong performer.
