Nintendo To Livestream From Gamescom 2017, Includes Super Mario Odyssey & Metroid
Get that popcorn ready.
Nintendo will be at Gamescom in a couple of weeks, and there will be a whole host of live shows to watch if you're not going to the event itself.
A livestream for Super Mario Odyssey will commence at 2pm UK time on 23rd August. Producer Yoshiaki Koizumi will be commentating on the demo. The Sand Kingdom and Metro Kingdom levels will be available to play on the showfloor, so you can really get a feel for the new addition to the Mario franchise.
24th August is Metroid Day, and the livestream for the game will begin at 11am UK time, where Nintendo will be joined by producer Yoshio Sakamoto and creative director Jose Luis Marquez.
There will also be live shows and interviews with Nintendo developers about Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Fire Emblem Warriors, and gameplay will be livestreamed.
You'll be able to find these shows on Nintendo's website and YouTube channel. Nintendo's booth in Hall 9 will have other games to play, such as Mario & Rabbits Kingdom Battle and Pokken Tournament DX.
While the full schedule isn't out in the wild as of yet, it will be revealed soon, so stay on your toes.
