Minecraft passes 12 million PC sales
Mass Effect DLC incoming for Xbox Edition.
Mojang have announced that Minecraft has passed the 12 million mark for PC, Linux and Mac sales.
Minecraft's sales statistics page gives us a look at the exact number of copies sold for PC users, as well as how many people have purchased the game within the last 24 hours. At the time of writing this, 12,005,551 have purchased the game and 13,727 of those were in the last 24 hours.
The combined sales of the game across Xbox, PC and Mobile releases comes to a whopping 20 million copies sold.
In other Minecraft related news, a new DLC for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is on its way.
Kotaku reports that The Mass Effect pack will give players an in-game Mars Facility location, 36 new character skins, textures and items, with themes menus and 22 new music tracks. The Mass Effect pack was developed by Minecraft's console devs, 4J Studios, and is available on September 4th for $3.99.
