Destiny will be PlayStation exclusive in Japan
Sony shows further support for Bungie's next title.
Bungie's upcoming online-shooter Destiny is receiving further support from Sony as the title becomes a PlayStation exclusive in Japan.
It's the studio's first game away from the Xbox flagship Halo franchise and the first time that they'll be releasing on a PlayStation console - an opportunity Sony appears to be making the most of.
Destiny recently opened the show for Sony as E3 2014, demonstrating the amount of effort the platform holder are going through to make the title a success on PS3 and PS4. Sony also announced that they'll be releasing a white PS4 alongside Destiny when it launches later this year.
PlayStation has also secured a host of exclusive Destiny content, including ships, suits and guns.
It has now been revealed that the partnership is going a step further when it releases in Japan on September 11th. The multi-platform shooter will now only be supported by PlayStation in the region. It is worth noting that Xbox One is yet to release in Japan, but is set for launch a week before Destiny arrives.
Destiny launches on September 9th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3. Let us know if you're getting it.
