Watch Dogs becomes best-selling new IP ever, Wii U sales up 666 per cent - UK Charts
Mario Kart and Watch Dogs lead the way in this week's UK Charts.
Watch Dogs, the open-world hacking title from Ubisoft, has become the best-selling new IP ever in the UK, beating the week-one sales record previously held by Rockstar's LA Noire by an incredible 58%.
Watch Dogs found the most success on Sony's PS4, where the console bundle for the game accounted for over half of PlayStation's weekly unit sales.
Mario Kart 8 is in at No. 2 in this week's charts, becoming the best ever week one seller for the Wii U and the second best ever for a Mario Kart title. Wii U has enjoyed a 666 per cent week-on-week sales boost as a result of Mario Kart's launch.
