Prop Hunt & Gun Game Become Permanent Call Of Duty WWII Game Modes
They're here to stay.
Due to popular demand, the Gun Game & Prop Hunt game modes are planting their boots on the ground. If you cast your mind back, these game modes were originally limited time events, but thankfully that's changed.
In Gun Game, you start with a pistol and move up with every kill. Getting killed with a melee attack puts you down a tier. Prop Hunt is more of a casual party mode where some players disguise themselves as map items, like a barrel or sandbag, whilst the others hunt 'em down, looking like madmen shooting at an actual sandbag.
We're not pulling your leg either, here's a tweet from Sledgehammer Games' official account:
Happy TWOsday, everyone! What's with the pun, you ask? We have TWO additions we're excited about:— Sledgehammer Games (@SHGames) March 6, 2018
GUN GAME and PROP HUNT are back as permanent #CODWWII game modes by popular demand! Find them in the Featured playlist tab.
Enjoy from now until... a really long time from now! pic.twitter.com/hJiw0gjk92
Sledgehammer has also made a change to Gun Game to improve players' experience; the mode had an issue with people being AFK however this has now been tweaked, so those who do no damage for 5 minutes will be kicked off.
We also pushed through a change for Gun Game that will kick players who are AFK. This should greatly improve your experience on Gun Game! https://t.co/YIZ7j1Sjjc— Sledgehammer Games (@SHGames) March 6, 2018
For all the Prop Hunt fans, the mode will be available on the new DLC maps starting next week, as confirmed by Sledgehammer.
