PUBG Sells Over 26 Million Copies Since Launching In Early Access, Over 2.7 Billion Hours Have Been Played & 130m Chicken Dinners Have Been Served
We all know how popular PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is, but now the evidence has been put right in front of our faces as PUBG Corp has released some stats.
All of Steam's player records have been broken since PUBG hit the platform, and an impressive 26 million copies have been sold across PC & Xbox One, and the game ended the year with a very impressive $712 million (~£512 million) in revenue.
Players have spent over 2.7 billion hours in game, there's 3.15 million concurrent players, and 130 million chicken dinners have been served. That's a lot of chicken. So much so, that it's enough to feed the population of Iceland for 359 days!
2.3 billion care packages have been delivered, the M416 is the players' favourite weapon, and the UAZ is the favoured mode of transport.
Its Xbox One release has brought 4 million players to the table; that's pretty impressive seeing as its console release hasn't been out that long.
