CoD spends seventh week at the top of the charts.
Call of Duty: WWII has managed to continue its unbroken streak at the top of the charts, claiming its seventh consecutive week unmoved and becoming the UK's No.1 game for Christmas 2017.
“We’re extremely proud that Call of Duty: WWII is the UK Christmas number 1," said Activision's Roy Stackhouse. "Marking the franchise’s fourth consecutive year in the holiday top spot. This also represents Call of Duty: WWII’s seventh straight week at the top of the charts, equaling the impressive achievements of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy earlier this year."
"We’d like to thank our UK fans for their ongoing support and we look forward to sharing more updates in 2018. Until then we wish all our players a happy holiday season”.
FIFA 18 and Star Wars: Battlefront II follow behind in spots No.2 and No.3. Sales for Battlefront II have spiked 81 percent since the release of The Last Jedi in cinemas.
PlayerUnknown's Battleground has taken residency at No.4 in its first week on sale, seeing strong sales despite being a Preview Program game for Xbox One consoles exclusively. Assassin's Creed: Origins rounds out the Top 5.
