Rise Of The Tomb Raider's 'Blood Ties' Finally Receives VR Support On PC
Headset on and... action!
Rise Of The Tomb Raider's DLC that lets you explore Croft Manor once again has finally received VR support for PC, so you can feel like you're really having a nosey through the family's secrets. The trailer has been embedded above to jog your memory.
Blood Ties is an hour long story focused episode that sees Lara heading back to Croft Manor following her father's death. You're tasked with exploring the manor, uncovering family secrets, and searching for evidence that'll allow Lara to reclaim her childhood home. Also included is "Lara's Nightmare", in which your aim is to shoot zombies. No I'm not apologising for that pun, my things are staying firmly put.
Originally Blood Ties was part of of Rise Of The Tomb Raider's extended PS4 edition, where PSVR support was offered. Soon the episode made its way onto other platforms under the wing of the 20 Year Celebration Pack DLC. However, VR support wasn't bundled in, leaving Rift and Vive owners a bit miffed.
One year later, Blood Ties on PC has received SteamVR support via a free update for owners of Rise Of The Tomb Raider's 20 Year Celebration edition, DLC pack, or season pass.
Who's going to slip on their VR headset when they go home and give Blood Ties a run for its money? Let us know below!
