Guillermo Del Toro To Be Shown Death Stranding Gameplay "In The Next Couple Of Weeks"
Could this mean anything for us gamers?
Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding gameplay could be shown in private soon according to Guillermo Del Toro, horror director, who features in trailers for the title and has worked on the failed Silent Hill reboot with Kojima.
"In Death Stranding I'm just a puppet. I don't know what he's gonna make me do. He's supposedly going to show me the gameplay at some point in the next couple of weeks" said Del Toro.
Death Stranding was first shown off at 2016's E3 and has a provisonal release window of 2018. The PS4 exclusive is an action game similar to Metal Gear Solid, and features The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus and Hannibal's Mads Mikkelsen. The title didn't show its face at this year's E3, nor did it make an appearance at Paris Games Week, but there's nothing to say it won't pop in for a while at PSX in December. I wouldn't take that previous sentence too seriously however as Kojima is notorious for taking his time, especially as he's confident that Death Stranding will be his best game to date.
Could this mean anything for us gamers? Is it possible that we'll be given a gameplay trailer or something similar? Let us know your thoughts below!
