Beta Details For Star Wars Battlefront II Have Been Leaked
For the web is dark and full of leaks (& spoilers).
The beta for Star Wars Battlefront II is slowly creeping towards us, and the entirety of it has been leaked. Some_Info, a Reddit user, has provided details of the beta, and has a good track record when it comes to leaking Battlefront 2 details, so it does sound like it's coming from a pretty reliable source. Needless to say, there will be some spoilers from here; you've been warned.
The above Reddit user has previously showed off screenshots of the closed beta before it was announced, and he also correctly leaked details about the game's first showing at E3 before EA revealed all.
While the post confirms some information we already knew, such as the Assault On Theed map (supports 40 players) and the Starfighter Assault mode on Fondor (supports 24 players) will be included, we also learn that Strike On Takodana will also be one of the maps available.
Some_Info said that Skirmish mode will be part of the beta; this mode was co-op focused in the original game that featured modified maps and an arcade-style scoring system with power-ups and weapon pickups. Apparently the beta version for Battlefront 2 will feature split-screen and co-op for 2 players.
The same roster shown at E3 will be making its return with no changes, so get ready to say hello to Han Solo, Boba Fett, Rey, and Darth Maul once again. One surprise is the LAAT vehicle, so there's some new info for you!
The Reddit user also said that there will be some graphical improvements compared to the E3 build, as well as 9 emotes for players to try out.
Will you be hopping into the beta that begins on 6th October (4th October for preorder players)? Let us know!
