A Custom Controls Option Is Being Added To An Upcoming ARMS Update
Say hello to button configuration.
Nintendo's newest IP, ARMS, already has some control customisation, but you'll soon be able to take even more 'control' (hey it's Friday, let me have this one!).
ARMS comes with a variety of different control options, such as being able to play with motion controls with the joy-cons detached from the Switch, as well as supporting everything the Switch has brought to the table and giving you the option to turn off motion controls if you're not a fan. You can even play with the Pro controller, the joy-cons attached to the grip, and even an individual joy con on its side for easier 2 player action. However, for all of these options you were stuck with the pre-set button configurations.
But no more! ARMS is getting a minor makeover in the controls department; I am indeed referring to custom button configurations (such a blessing)! The official Japanese ARMS Twitter account was the first to announce the feature, and now Nintendo UK has jumped in the boat.
This feature will arrive in version 3 of ARMS, the upcoming update. As well as this welcome addition, you'll also be able to play as the new character Lola Pop, a clown-like fighter. Check out her trailer below:
You'll soon be able to modify the controls as you see fit, so there should be no more mishaps involving unleashing the wrong attacks due to how you like to grip the controller.
Have you been wanting to change the controls around? Let us know!
