Destiny isn't getting any more gameplay updates, Bungie confirms
Bungie turns full attention to Destiny 2.
Bungie has revealed that they will no longer be releasing gameplay updates and balance changes for the original Destiny, as the studio sets its sights on supporting Destiny 2.
Destiny's impending Age of Triumph update will be the final update for the game. "In our constant watch over the community, we've heard many of you asking if the current sandbox will get another design pass. Our sole focus at this time is Destiny 2," Bungie confirmed.
"Our hope is that you'll sense what all your feedback has meant to us when you get your chance to play Destiny 2, wherever or whenever that happens," the studio continued. "As always, we thank you for playing, and for giving the feedback that helps us to make better games."
Although Bungie won't be dropping any more gameplay updates for Destiny, they will still offer full support services for players.
Destiny 2 is out in September on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Will you be picking a copy up?
