An entirely new 3-D engine makes the world of The Sims 2 more life-like and dynamic. The Sims 2 will also introduce an all-new "Create-a-Sim" feature. I liked aspects of this new version but am dissapointed in others. Lots of funny little additions with game play such as reading on the toilet and live control. The recipe option i love as well as the new graphics . There is so much more to do. But it will take a little bit of getting used to as the controls and overall feel of the game is very different to that of previous games......better? i dont know but certainly different. The one thing i a, dissapointed at is as yet there is no pool or water/pond option so far maybe it will be unlocked but i dont see it......overall i like the game and would advise playing.
