I never played the first saints row game because from the adverts it looked like a cheap carbon copy of GTA.. However, i purchased SR2 because i had a bit of cash to spare and wanted a new game.. WOW! is all i can say. Absolutely fantastic. I have been die hard GTA since the days of the PS1 but now i am all about saints row. This game has all the features of GTA 4 - a game i loved - and MORE!! The story is brilliant, the missions are a lot of fun and the customisation available is the icing on the cake!! If you are a fan of GTA4 this game is a MUST!! I promise you wont be disappointed. Its also fun when you get enough respect to recruit numerous followers... The only criticism i ever had of GTA games was that despite the big houses and the guards at your territories i neer really felt i was leading the gang because you are always left to do all the missions yourseld. In SR2 i often run around with3 followers on my missions and there are numerous mission where the are dozens of ur gang members fighting in the same places as you and when ur immediate 3 followers die u just whistle for one of them to join you and they wont leave your side... I thought this feature was a great touch.
