Just as good as the first!
If you liked ’Ninja Gaiden Sigma’ then you’ll want this one too. Its slightly easier than the previous game, but not much though. The boss battles (including the Statue of Liberty!) are excellent and require strategy rather than just hack and slash. As with the first game, weapons and magic are upgradeable throughout the game via the ’shop’. Enemies are varied and not repetetious. The Xbox version was extremely blood thirsty. For the PS3 version, the developers have toned down the blood. Theres still blood splattering on the floor, walls etc.. and on your weapon, but a blue/green mist appears where the blood would have sprayed out. Apparently it done for artisitc reasons and to make the game run smoother. Personally i think its because critics negatively mentioned the excessive blood in the Xbox version, so they toned it down for the PS3. Anyway its a still a great game, and one you should definately play if you like action games! Also this version features a number o unlockables and a team missions mode too, in which you play on or offline.
