need two aaa batteries to be fully charged between each use IMPORTANT. this controller uses two aaa batteries which need to be bought separately. obviously it makes sense to use rechargeable batteries. it is really ESSENTIAL that you fully charge the batteries between each gamepad use. with half charged batteries the gamepad isn’t as responsive, but this is a minor issue so long as you always fully charge the batteries
the best gamepad i have ever used i use the official xbox controller for pc. have a ps3 dualshock 3. have tried numerous other gamepads by thrustmaster and other big brands. this beats them all. the shape is so perfect it fits like a glove in your hands. rubber grips on the side keep it from slipping in the hand. the sticks have a rough rubber coating so they dont slip off the thumbs like the plastic dualshock 3’s sticks. l1 and r1 have a nice click when you press them. l2 and r2 are just perfect, they slant outwards instead of inwards like the dualshock 3’s l2r2 so your fingers rest naturally on them instead of slipping off. and it has perfect sixaxis and rumble functionality built in. if you are a ps3 gamer do yourself a favour and get yourself this controller. ps3 gaming has always been less enjoyable than 360 because of the awkward shape of duslshock 3. this rectifies that and then some. i never thought i would find a controller i prefer to the 360 one but this is it. i started playing uncharted 2 with a dualshock 3 and halfway in started using this one. it made it so much more enjoyable. for fps games in particular it really makes a difference. just be aware in the game settings you might need to decrease the sticks sensitivity a notch as they are slightly more sensitive than those on a dualshock 3
