Reviewed by: Deano from u.k If you’ve just bought a PS3, upgrade your cable now! The bog standard AV cable that comes with the PS3 console, will not do it any justice. If you have a HDready television, then you can upgrade to this. Sharper picture quality, and can provide excellent hi-definition in 720p, 1080i, and 1080p (depending on what t.v you own). The HDMI cable is slightly better (it provides a digital signal, unlike the component cable which is analogue), but this will do just fine. If you want to use your PS3 to upscale dvds, then get a HDMI cable, as it won’t work with any other cable. PS2 games however CAN be upscaled with the use of the component cable (and look a treat too!)
