Players will assume the identity of Ethan Thomas, the former Serial Crimes Unit investigator, who’s been called back to duty to track down his missing partner. As Ethan, players will engage in visceral combat using a variety of firearms, blunt instruments and an all-new fighting system complete with defensive and offensive combo chains. To help track the killer and solve the mysteries behind Condemned 2: Bloodshot, players will crack open an all-new set of high-tech forensic tools. Using wits and brute strength, murders can be solved in a number of different ways to keep players guessing throughout each suspenseful investigation.

Reviewed by: DB from UK Varied gameplay, and extremely violent! If you want a FPS game like ’Call of Duty’, then don’t bother with this. The game is in a first person perspective, but you will hardly use guns, and when you do, ammo is very scarce. Melee attacks are mainly used, as you play an alcoholic detective. The best aspect of the game, is when you come across a dead body, and you have to search for clues etc...The gameplay is quite varied, and the overall atmosphere is unsettling. Best played late at night, on your own, with the lights turned off. The PS3 version seems, to have a problem with the 5.1 surround sound (check out the message boards on gamefaqs.com), i did notice some audio glitches, but it doesn’t distract you from the game - this will hopefully be fixed with a patch.
