From the creative minds behind the groundbreaking FINAL FANTASY series comes the next exciting chapter in the saga of DIRGE of CERBERUS -FINAL FANTASY VII-. In this installment, players embark on an action-packed adventure never before experienced in the FINAL FANTASY franchise. Players assume the role of the enigmatic hero Vincent Valentine and wage battle against an army of foes, combining devastating gun attacks with hand-to-hand melee combos. Witness the truth behind Vincent's tragic past as the story unfolds through Square Enix's world-renowned cinematics.

Three years have passed since Meteor's devastating attack on the planet. After piecing together their shattered lives, people are terrorized yet again by sudden attacks stemming from a mysterious military organization known as Deepground. Before Meteorfall, these soldiers formed one of Shinra's most secret projects but with the destruction of Midgar, the soldiers left below the town's smoldering remains were forgotten. Vincent Valentine must now retaliate against this impending threat with his trusty Cerberus in hand.

great shooting game and graphics, just dont take seriously.
gives a lot of background on parts of the original game, but nothing like final fantasy. i’ve played it to death for the fact its a great shooting game. just hard to get used to the fact its nothing you’d expect out of the final fantasy VII collection.

Quite Good!
See it the game this way... If you dont consider this game as a Final Fantasy you can get along with this game just fine. If you compare it to the original final fantasy 7 you will in term wont like it. But the gameplay on this game is amazing, it might seem a lassle boring as you cant level the character (vincent) up beyond the point of having 9999 HP but. You do get some good battles and quite a good storyline with customable weapons and materia, and kick *** moves jumping though the air giving you aprox 7 kicks and punches whilst in air and about 4 on ground. Amazing graphics in both gameplay and in video. video graphics look like its from the Final Fantasy 7:Advent Children film. All in all its quite a fun game to play if your stuck in doors on a rainy weekend.
