Try the best crash mode it seems a shame to mention the few tiny chinks in b3’s armour, but the ’dj’ is quite apalling. youll want to strangle him with a length of controller wire the moment you hear him. but that really is everything that is less than perfection about burnout 3. everything else is simply superb. the sense of speed works brilliantly, and you always feel just a twitch away from a multi-car mash-up, speaking of which, the crash mode and road rage mode have both been spruced up, making finding faults extremely difficult. takedowns look beuatiful, and the PS2’s graphical capabilities are being exploited brilliantly. Online, b3 is a blast, and playing with others, while getting a full screen to yourself is great. the cars, though none are licenced, still look sweet, and the seemingly unending list of unlockable cars and tracks gives the game a long, long lifespan. overall if you enjoyed the first 2 games, of just like the thrill of dodging traffic on the wrong side of the road doing 200mph, then missing burnout 3 is a crime punishable only by death.
