Nice finish, good sound, nice mic but hurt my ears!

In fact, this is a good buy. But if you really want a comfortable headset, you’ll need to use this product for a while, because the ears caps sit on your ears (they don’t surround them) and they always make a hard pressure on your ears (it really hurt after 10 min.!). I resolved this problem by pulling aside each headset’s ear from each other (for one night, using an object), but this is not a perfect solution. We cannot adjust this, it’s like a kind of metal bar that has been shaped like this, we must curve it to reduce his "resistance". Trust me, I don’t have a big head and it hurts, so imagine for people with a large head! It would really hurt! I really want to recommend you the PC 160 (SK or not) because of the small price difference (about 20$) and the EXTRA large ear caps.. If you read about the pc160 history, you’ll notice that this product was made from gamers suggestions, because they probably said that the 150 hurt too much! And the specs are really really close to the 150, but there are little modifications that really make a big difference, i’m pretty sure.. For example, the sound is just a little better (especially for 3D surround in games) and the comfort problem is solved. The design is also a little bit different. Finally, if you are really short on cash, the 150 has his advantages. The mic is perfect, sounds great, can be shot ON or OFF with the little control pad on the cord.. The mic is moveable, has a flexible part to avoid breaking it, the mouth distance is perfect. The product is "hard", well made with nice finish. I tought the ear caps were in vinil but this is only a foam. But the foam is firmly bent and sticked on the module where speakers are in. These little modules are also a little bit moveable, so it naturally adjusts its position on your ears. The sound is good but it’s not amazing. The main qualities of theses little speakers are: when you grow up the volume, there is no distortion at all(this is impressive); the bass is good; the overall sound is like any other sennheiser product, I mean well balanced for the price, not really any bad comments on this. So, when we look at the actual price of the PC160s (november 2005 : 60$USD), I recommend you to pay a little more for theses, especially if you are a gamer and you want to play more than 30 min. I usually speak french, please understand my poor english. Thanks.
