The story follows Harry Mason, who wakes up after a car accident to find that his daughter Cheryl is missing. Harry will wander the snowy streets of Silent Hill searching for answers of her disappearance, but when the world freezes over, he will need to escape the lumbering demons that haunt his steps. Harry will need to navigate both worlds to discover the truth; not just about his missing daughter, but also the type of person he actually is. Silent Hill's debut on the Nintendo Wii makes the fear more real than ever before. Players will be drawn into the mysterious town using the Wii Remote as a flashlight and a cellphone as they search for clues. Choices they make will shape Harry Mason, as well as the people he meets and the places he visits. The enemies evolve as well, taking the form of the player's deepest fears. Silent Hill promises to be more terrifying than ever, also bringing the fear to PS2 and PSP.

Interesting remake of the classic horror game
The use of the Wii remote is one of the best i’ve seen (using it as a torch and mobile phone for example), and the graphics and sound are excellent. There are few puzzles to solve and the game is intense and very creepy. Some moments require the player to make choices, which will reflect on the out come of the games ending. The developers have done away with combat. When you enter the nightmare world, you just simply run from the monsters and try and find an exit to the ’normal’ world. This is fine at first and makes the game more intense, but it does get a bit tiresome later on in the game ("oh great more running away!" you’ll think). Its also quite short too, but there are numerous endings to unlock. A good horror game for the Wii and recommended, but don’t expect the more action packed ’Resident Evil 4’.
