Very "Last Gen" Console
The Wii’s target audience is "Non-Gamers", So don’t expect many games that require thought, and which really immerse you into them. Nintendo’s latest console is great for partys and for when you have family and friends round - watching your mum waving the Wii remote around while playing ’Wii Sports’ is priceless! However, most of the games available are mediocre, and also i’ve noticed ’GameCube’ ports of older games (Pikmin and Resident Evil 4 for example), which use the Wii remote (how about brand new games please Nintendo?). Sadly Nintendo have chosen not to make the Wii High-Definition, which personally i think is a major negative aspect for the console. Yes you can get a component cable and connect it to your HDT.V, but its still 480p resolution (HD is 720p, 1080i and 1080p), which means very jagged graphics and blurry picture on a high end telly. You can play your old GameCube games on the Wii, but a GameCube control pad is required and a memory card too. For value for money, i’d recommend the Playstation 3 instead (HD compatible, Blu-ray player, easily replaceable HDD, and most of all better games).

Hmm...
I think the Wii is a great console for family play and fun play but for us hardcore gamers out there I just don’t think it’s what we’re looking for. Not enough hardcore games...

I Love my Wii & PS3, People say the Wii is **** and PS3 Dominates the Market, I think Differently, just because it dont have £150 Graphic Engine doesn’t mean its not as fun .
