Features

Experience the feel and finesse of real golf on beautiful 3-D courses with Touch Golf. In this dual-screened Nintendo DS golf game, using the touch screen and the stylus is almost like swinging a golf club in real life.

The longer players slide a stylus across the touch screen, the harder they smack the ball. Players also can curve their swings to slice or fade shots and alter the angle of the club head for sharpshooter-like accuracy.

Touch Golf features multiple game modes, character customization and wireless multiplayer support for up to four players with just one game card.

Nintendo Touch Golf makes full use of the Nintendo DS’s dual-screen set up, enabling players to select a club, place their shot and check weather conditions, all without taking an eye off the action on the top screen.

To perfect your golfing skills, try competing in 18 holes in ‘Stroke Play’ mode or against a computer opponent in ‘Match Play’. Once suitably prepared you will be ready to take on ‘Championship Mode’, competing in more and more exciting tournaments and collecting silverwear until ultimately the World Title is yours!

For a quick game on the go, Nintendo Touch Golf: Birdie Challenge also includes a fully customisable ‘Free Round’ mode. Players can select from a variety of different holes and challenges, as well as tweaking everything from wind speed and direction to weather conditions on the day.

The customization doesn’t end here either! Like any real golfer you get to deck your player out in the most fashionable accessories. In ‘Club Mode’ players can buy over 80 items such as unique clubs, clothes, golf balls and much more.

Winning against the computer is one thing, but will you have the skills required to defeat another human player? DS download play – using the wireless feature of the Nintendo DS, lets you play Nintendo Touch Golf: Birdie Challenge against up to four friends using only one game cartridge. For more competition, Members Mode allows eight players to battle it out in wireless tournaments, separating the pros from amateurs.
