Reviewed by: Donna from Walsall, UK Helps grip and sound on your DS I bought this a few months back and use it almost all the time (except when using the DS book-style). You can choose to plug in the grips speaker connection which helps add a more "surround sound" quality to the DS Lite. It holds the screen at a nice angle, although this cannot be adjusted. Holding the DS Lite in the grip is much easier especially when playing racing games or other games that rely on the keys rather than the touchpad. Drawbacks are: 1. it is useless when turning the DS sideways, it just gets in the way! 2. you cannot access the stylus at all when the DS is in the grip. 3. you can use the charger whilst using the grip, but you have to unplug the charger to remove the DS. 4. Access to the shoulder keys takes some adapting to as the grip sometimes gets in the way of the proper function. Having said that, I use it almost continuously as it just makes the console easier to handle. If you use your DS a lot and find your hands start to ache, buy this!
