Receiver
Powered by the PSOne / PS2 console (when used with the volume adaptor), or 9V Alkaline battery or a 9V DC adaptor (battery & DC adaptor not supplied)
The receiver can be connected to any standard karaoke machine and will function (cables are supplied).
Volume Adaptor:
Allows the users voice to be fed, via the console, to the television or separate speaker system. (Note: The users voice will only be heard when using the standard AV output of the console, not the optical cable).
Adaptor consists of a through port connector that plugs in to the console, (the mat then plugs into this). A through port adaptor that plugs into the AV output at the back of the console, (the standard AV cable then plugs into this). The AV adaptor has a 3.5mm headphone output so that a speaker system can be connected.
The volume adaptor turns the feature, of having your voice coming through the speakers and over the soundtrack of the game, on and off. It does not turn on the receiver or transmitter nor does it `turn on’ the karaoke feature in the game. The volume of the microphone can be adjusted up/down, by controls on the mat. (Note: Without the adaptor the volume cannot be adjusted).
