This battery pack allows the player to recharge the guitar from there PS3, PS2 or Xbox 360 through a rechargable battery pack being placed in the battery slot. The unit is then charged through an included usb lead to the console when the guitar is running low. Working much like the play and charge kit for the 360. The advantage of having the battery pack over batteries is that continued play can be enjoyed rather then having to stop to replace batteries.
