A collection of short information films made by the Central Office of Information (COI) throughout the latter half of the 20th century. This second volume in the series focuses on architecture, design and fashion. Films include: 'Designing Women' (1948), 'Brief City' (1952), 'Design for Today' (1965), 'Insight: Terence Conran' (1981), 'Insight: Zandra Rhodes' (1981), 'The Pacemakers BIBA' (1970) and 'Designed in Britain' (1959). Electronic pop band Saint Etienne provide new scores for two of the films, 'Designed in Britain' and 'Design for Today'.
