FreeLoader uses proprietary technology to enable your GameCube to play import games from any other region. Using FreeLoader you can now, for example, easily play U.S. games on a European GameCube console, or play Japanese games on a U.S. console.

We recommend you always buy a game designed for your own region wherever possible due to language differences and extra features, etc. However there will be occasions when you simply can’t obtain a game, or are not prepared to wait many months for a foreign title to be released in your region. In these cases, FreeLoader is your passport to playing any game, from any country, on any GameCube.

If you’re one of the many gamers that bought an imported GameCube console and you now want to play games from your own country, then FreeLoader is also ideal for this task. Whichever way you use FreeLoader, no modifications to your console are needed and your console’s warranty is kept intact.

* As you probably know, the Wii is backwards compatible with the GameCube – you can play cube games on your Wii. Back in the day, Datel released FreeLoader for the GameCube, a nifty software solution which letsyou play ANY region of game on ANY GameCube, regardless of region encoding. We also released Action Replay for GameCube, the ultimate game enhancer which also included FreeLoader. With Action Replay, you could use exclusive cheat codes to give yourself Infinite Lives, Infinite Health, All Levels and much more, as well as playing games from outside your Cube’s region. If you have one of the later versions of Action Replay or FreeLoader for GameCube, you can use it on your Nintendo Wii when playing GameCube games. It won’t work with Wii – titles – it’s a GameCube product after all – but those who trade in their Cubes and invest in a Wii can carry on playing their imported GameCube games with FreeLoader and enhancing the experience with Action Replay. *
