Playstation 4 (PS4) Role Playing Games Games

Role playing games, often abbreviated as RPGs, are games in which the player is in the role of characters within the game, usually the protagonist, in a fictional setting. Players take responsibility for acting out these roles and making decisions about game-influencing events and situations. Actions taken within many games succeed or fail according to a formal system of rules and guidelines. Many RPGs are multiplayer, however most console RPGs are offline single player video games in which players control a character or team who undertake quest. These games often share settings and rules with table top RPGs, but emphasize character advancement more than collaborative storytelling. A popular role playing game franchise is Final Fantasy, a sequel of which will be released during the launch of the PS4.
